Out of all the music in the world, I can’t seem to get away from Gospel music. I love the soul of the music, the feeling and the drive of the music, and most of all the word of “GOD” that’s in the songs. Without God in my life, I don’t know where my life would be. Jazz is another music form that is great. Some of the best guitarists in the world play jazz, and there are some great gospel guitarists also. R&B, Blues Pop & Country also have great guitarists, which is why I try to play my own style the way I feel it, and write songs the way God gives them to me. I found some guitarists on youtube that are great and some who are not so great, but “TOUCH” is the name of our group, and we play Gospel and lite jazz. Some call it "gospel jazz," but as a band, we play all types of music, as long as it is clean, has real feeling to it, and has good clean lyrics. That's what we like; some people like other types of music, and there's nothing wrong with that. Music is the heart and soul of the world, and music will lift you up when things are down,
Tim Holmes, the founder of the group is one of the best piano & keyboard players around today. He's been on the keys since the age of 14, and a real music lover. His brother Cliff, 2nd guitar an lead singer, is one of younger members in the group, and has been there from the beginning. Sly Williams is the lead guitarist and singer and was approached by Tim to get a band started. The idea sounded good to him, and TOUCH was born. Then came Brad, the bass player who is another music lover and lover of God and he has been playing the guitar since the age of 16. We had all the tools we needed...all but one, a drummer. Then came Dave, another music lover, and he's been beating on the skins since he was a teen. The good thing about this band is we all love music and live within ten miles of each other.
